Resource: Vikings in North America
$2.00The Vikings were the first Europeans to reach North America, more than 1000 years ago. The Vikings established settlements and traded with indigenous people in North America for about 400 years, finally abandoning the continent less than 100 years before Columbus’ voyage.
This resource examines the Viking activities in North America and is an excellent complement to other Geography and History resources focussing on North America and the ‘explorations’ of the world by Europeans.

The program reduces my planning time as I only have to plan and research for one integrated unit.
