Understanding Our World - integrated History/Geography HASS+Science programThis virtual product allows you to easily calculate (and order) your annual licence for the complete set of Understanding Our World™ HASS+Science units across your classroom (for a single teacher). This works out cheaper and more convenient than purchasing units throughout the year.

The unit licensing works per year-level per classroom (@ $75 + GST), so you simply fill in which year levels you have in your classroom. You can review the calculated total fee at the bottom of the selection list. The Blackline World Map can also be ordered at the same time for your classroom.

If you have already purchased one or more units or year bundles as part of your current subscription, please contact us for a quote and invoice covering the difference as this calculator is unable take those scenarios into account.

OpenSTEM A0 world map 2018-02a

Blackline World Map

You'll generally want at least one A0 (118.9×84.1 cm) size blackline world map in your classroom. You can select the number of maps you require (ideally one per year level, but of course you need to have the wall space). The map is used as a consumable (drawn and glued on). Your maps are posted in a single poster roll, thus saving on packaging and postage costs.

CD with all licensed units and resource PDFs

Receive a custom CD via the post, containing

  • all the unit bundles you've licensed for this year;
  • all the accompanying base resource PDFs;
  • any open source software packages releated to your unit bundles (Digital Tech)

We will send you a custom CD 4 times: once now, and then before each next term. All PDFs will be branded with your school licensing information, just like the website would do when you download. You can copy and print the materials within the school as needed.

Description

After purchasing the licences through here, the licensed units and year bundles can then be added to the web store cart at no additional cost, and downloaded whenever required. Of course you’ll want to refresh your classroom copy as they get updated by OpenSTEM (we have a CD-by-post service available).
