Description
During the Last Ice Age there were some animals that looked similar to some animals we know today, but the Ice Age animals were much larger and sometimes had woolly hair or fur. These animals are called the Ice Age megafauna (“mega” means “big” and “fauna” means animals. These big animals lived on almost every continent.
