Description
This resource examines a few of the indigenous groups of North America. It describes the people and aspects of their way of life, concentrating on their use of resources and their management of the environment. In addition, later impacts both on their way of life, and the environment on which they depended, are briefly examined. The current situation of the indigenous group is given. Thus this resource is a natural complement to the Geography resources: Regions of North America, Environments of North America. The groups included in this resource are Inhabitants of the Far North; Algonquin People; Taino People; Aztecs and the Zuni People.
