Description
Part of the process of understanding migration is to understand the circumstances under which people leave their home country to move somewhere else. This resource guides students through the process of exploring different reasons why some nationalities left their home countries to move to Australia, through time. Both positive and negative reasons are explored, with particular focus on young people, migrants and refugees. The emotions experienced by these people are also discussed.
This resource aligns with Year 4, 5 and 6 Australian Curriculum History, Geography, Civics and Citizenship and HASS.
