Description
The first colonial settlers in Australia came from Britain and Europe, within a few years of the arrival of the First Fleet. They were later joined by other groups of settlers, often reflecting the changing politics in Europe. This resource examines some of these groups – examining the experiences of women, children, squatters, selectors and others.
This resource is designed to complement the Year 4 and 5 Australian History and Geography curricula.
