Description

This resource examines ways in which Aboriginal people have used and maintained the Australian environment. Over the many thousands of years that Aboriginal people have been in Australia, they have impacted on the environment in various ways. As the climate changed with the end of the Ice Age, and then stabilised, they learned how to use the environment in a sustainable way, and even to manage it. This resource tracks the technology and management techniques used in this process, through time.

This resource aligns with Year 4, 5 and 6 Australian Curriculum History, Geography, Civics and Citizenship and HASS.
