Description
Part of a series on the Indigenous Peoples of Asia, this resource examines the Dani People of New Guinea. A brief history of contact with these people is given. Their traditional way of life, beliefs and language are discussed. In addition, impacts both on their way of life, and the environment on which they depend, are briefly examined. Their current situation is also given.
This resource is aimed at Australian Curriculum History and Geography for Year 6, but is also applicable for Years 3, 4 and 5.
