Description
The Spanish founder of the settlement which became the city of San Juan, on the island of Puerto Rico, in the Caribbean was Juan Ponce de León. He is also credited as being the first European to explore Florida, on the North American mainland.
This resource explores his life and achievements and is aligned with Year 5 Australian Curriculum History, Geography and HASS.
