We then start exploring categories and algorithms, based on the English curriculum Procedures.

Students learn about Files and Folders, and apply these essential insights when using a Word Processor and a Spreadsheet.

Students start exploring how everything in a computer is made up of numbers.

Multi-Year Level Integration

This Year 5 Unit can be used alongside (or replacing) the Year 4 Unit “Exploring Digital”, or alongside (or replaced by) the Year 6 Unit “Digital Algorithms”.
