Description
Often romanticised, the lives of Australia’s bushrangers were often short and unpleasant. This resource examines the bushrangers of the 19th century and how they acted in resistance to colonial authorities. Different groups of bushrangers had different motives and some of these are mentioned in this resource. In particular, our most notorious bushranger, Ned Kelly, is a focus of the resource.
This resource is aimed at students in Year 5 and covers issues of Australian colonial history aligned with the Australian Curriculum for History and HASS.
