Ginger Beer Project Workshops

Description

This is the (optional) facilitated workshop component of our Ginger Beer Science Project unit, where students brew a small (15L) barrel of (non-alcoholic!) ginger beer.

This is all done in the classroom, and completely from scratch. The facilitated workshops program consists of three workshops of about 1h30 each, across a period of two school weeks:

1. Introduction, and getting started with the ginger beer plant.
2. Extraction of the juice, transfer to barrel, adding additional ingredients (day 7)
3. Completing the process, testing the results! (day 10)

We use the Ginger Beer Project Classroom Kit (sold separately).
