Resource: Plants and Animals Around the World

Description

This resource, aimed at younger students, is designed to complement the resource Modern Families Around the World. For each of the focus countries: Australia, Brazil, Canada, Denmark, Japan, Saudi Arabia and Somalia, one plant and one animal is described. Often these are national symbols of those countries. This resource encourages students to compare the different climates and environments of their own and other countries around the world.

This resource aligns with Years 1, 2 and 3 History, Geography and HASS.
